Nic's development tweets

I tweet a lot about the development of Fringe Planet - as well as talking about game development in general. Twitter is fantastic for getting the message out, but tweets always slowly fade out of view as time goes past. So I've decided to add this section to the website, which contains everything I've tweeted. You'll find a lot of information about both me personally as well as the game.

Now we have some materials - it's time to add a fire before things get too cold and start the research :-)


My new hobby is watching these two different readability plugins giving real-time feedback as I type today's blog post :-) They really can't seem to agree :-)

Putting some loved up peons to work on the Friday - let's make a cozy little cottage for the peons to spend the weekend in :-) The first step is to grab some materials, and some food, then clear some space :-)

A very early last tweet o' the night- the birthday celebrations are beginning early :-) I'm not working tomorrow (as it's my birthday and want some downtime), so may be a wee but quiet on twitter. But whatever you are doing tomorrow (and tonight) be safe and have fun :-)

A (positive) take away for this is how the #gamedev community (both indie and AAA) are reacting to this - I've never seen such out pouring of honesty, support, job listings. I'm proud to be part of it :-)

To the folks who are part of the #BlizzardLayoffs - my heart goes out to you. It's a terrible time, but you are all fantastic at what you do - in a years time this will be all past you and will be a bad memory. DMs are always open if you want to chat (not just for Blizzard folks)

One of many tiny fixes that no one will ever see :-) I don't often check the info sheets while playing/testing/developing, but did notice that when I was outputting the numbers I wasn't rounding them which lead to some useless numbers ( 10.0000127 ) - problem sorted :-)
