Nic's development tweets

I tweet a lot about the development of Fringe Planet - as well as talking about game development in general. Twitter is fantastic for getting the message out, but tweets always slowly fade out of view as time goes past. So I've decided to add this section to the website, which contains everything I've tweeted. You'll find a lot of information about both me personally as well as the game.

Dear folk that running mailing lists:

Sending me an email with this subject after hours in my timezone, irks me greatly and that unsub footer looks a wee bit confuzzling

This may have been well-crafted and approved, but it's totally turned me off to the service you are offering

Remember when we all worried about people getting themselves shot by trying to invade Area 51? Ah simpler times...

Strange first world problem - it's a nice and sunny day, so I have a very fluffy tortoiseshell cat with a very white belly rolling about like crazy on a warm patio. Also, there is a drone floating above my garden which I think is watching her oO

A new week has loaded :-) Mega good luck with whatever you are up to :-) My tea is ready and the standup is ready - time to commence the #gamedev :-)

For those that don't know I'm fascinated by ants. Last year I captured a queen, and this summer some of her eggs started to hatch. But now the test tube is dry and I'm having to evict them into a new nest :-)

This is *absolutely* incredible - and done so super quickly as well - impress stuff :-) (Dune 2020 trailer with comparison shots from the old movie) #Dune

Good morning folks, and happy Friday to one and all :-) The weekend is just in reach - I hope you all have an AMAZING day :-) #gamedev

Good morning folks :-) Thursday is here and with it the weekend gets tantalizingly closer :-) Good luck with your projects folks tis time to start the #gamedev for me :-)

The original RT was going to read: "I spit in front of everyone involved in this". But non-Dune knowledged folks would think I was rather mean (and gross) and didn't enjoy this. And also with COVID ravaging the world, it's probably in fairly poor taste :-/

Also don't forget to turn it back on for release builds :-)

This took build times for me down from 15 minutes down to 3 oO
