Nic's development tweets

I tweet a lot about the development of Fringe Planet - as well as talking about game development in general. Twitter is fantastic for getting the message out, but tweets always slowly fade out of view as time goes past. So I've decided to add this section to the website, which contains everything I've tweeted. You'll find a lot of information about both me personally as well as the game.

And I thought 2020 was starting to look up :-/

(though in all seriousness, I don't think any of the works Banksy has done has been a bunch of toilet rolls dipped in paint and when viewed from above turns in the Mona Lisa or something) https://twitter.com/BBCNewsbeat/status/1302973647225843717

Almost four hours of meetings today for Project X and no one commented on my first haircut since the lockdown started. Sad face :-( #gamedev

Long meeting coming up, gotta make sure I'm stocked with enough tea to get through it :-) #gamedev

Good morning folks - happy Monday! Another week has begun filled with opportunities and challenges, I wish you all the best of luck and success with whatever you folks are up to this week! :-) #gamedev

Ah, that satisfying moment you can can close every single tab you've had opened and grab a beer and look forward to the weekend :-) Hope you had a great day folks :-) #gamedev

It has and always will be called a chip butty - I had no idea people called in anything other than that

Good morning folks - happy Friday :-) The weekend is almost here. Time to commence the #gamedev! Goog luck to whatever you are working on today :-D

Reality is strange, I have just got a second face mask - so I have a white mask for heading to the shops and pokewalks, and a more formal "nice" black mask for meeting people. If you had told me this time last year this would be a thing, I'd have been very skeptical :-)

Good morning folks and happy Thursday :-) Unity is loaded, the fresh cuppa is at a drinkable temperature, and I've got a bunch of work to do today - what are you folks up to? #gamedev

Rosie Update: This was him yesterday :-) Giving him pain medication over the weekend has returned him to his silly playful self - and bonus points that he is having no problems eating. Hopefully the issue has sorted itself out now :-)

Just discovered CONTROL+[ and CONTROL+] in google docs. I know it literally shows the shortcut on mouse over, but it is a super easy way of manipulating the indentation of a paragraph. Pay attention to your mouse overs folks, it can save you time :-)
